The Junior Portfolio Manager (JPM) program is designed to equip children and teens aged 9 to 17 with real-world investing skills, financial discipline, and an investor’s mindset early in life so they can confidently manage money, make informed decisions, and build long-term wealth. The JPM program leverages technology and AI to help students navigate the financial markets smartly and profitably.
For Ages: 9–17 | 8 Sessions | 2 Hours Each | 7 Saturdays and 1 weekday to buy stocks real-time during trading hours
Program Alignment: OECD financial education framework and stock market investing

Number of Students: Limited Group or VIP One-on-One Mentorship

Completed the Level 2 or Teenvestors program
Laptop with external mouse
Funded DragonFi stock account (ITF)
Personal email address (JPM format)

Week 1: Digital Investor Readiness, Discipline & AI-Assisted Thinking
Students develop laptop discipline, basic digital skills, and shift from a gamer or consumer mindset to thinking like a responsible long-term investor. Learn how to research responsibly online and use AI tools like ChatGPT as an assistant for learning and analysis, not as a shortcut for decisions.
Week 2: Stock Market Foundations & Market Navigation
Students understand how the stock market works, the roles of investors and brokers, and how to navigate official platforms like PSE Edge and DragonFi responsibly.
Week 3: Dividends, REITs & Compounding
Students learn how dividends and REITs generate passive income and experience how compounding builds wealth over time.
Week 4: Technical Analysis & Proper Journaling
Students acquire skills in technical analysis to assess current market trends and directions, as well as learn to record each trade, dividends, and cash flow in a manner similar to that of a professional fund manager.
Week 5: Fundamental Analysis & Business Evaluation
Students learn to read basic financial statements and evaluate whether a company is a healthy business worth owning.
Week 6: Dividend Metrics & Live Stock Trading
Students apply key dividend metrics and ratios to identify safe, sustainable income stocks and avoid dividend traps. Buying dividiend stocks and REITs real-time during trading hours.
Week 7: Technical Analysis, Risk Management & Portfolio Allocation
Students build a diversified dividend portfolio while learning how risk management and allocation protect capital.
Week 8: Portfolio Tracking & JPM Graduation
Students track dividends and performance, present their portfolios, and graduate as certified Junior Portfolio Managers.
What Parents Can Expect
After completing the Junior Portfolio Manager (JPM) Program, parents can expect their child to have gained practical financial skills, a strong understanding of money management, and confidence in making investment decisions. They will be able to read basic financial statements, manage a simulated portfolio, and think critically about risks and opportunities.
